The Annual Meeting of the Rotarian Lawyers Fellowship will be held at the Louisiana Supreme Court Building in New Orleans, Louisiana at 4:00 p.m. on May 23, 2011, which is located at 400 Royal St., New Orleans, LA 70130. This year Associate Justice Greg Guidry is hosting our meeting at the Louisiana Supreme Court. He is going to speak about the development of Louisiana law. Associate Justice Guidy is a former Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.
Also Ms. Donna Wright will speak about the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative. Ms. Wright has worked both directly and indirectly since 2002 throughout Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union, and she has had wonderful experiences partnering with international volunteer lawyers and judges and host country attorneys and judges.

This fellowship also answers questions and provide legal support and services on many levels. We are an international organization of legal professionals who have chosen to live by Rotary motto "Service Above Self".
The Objectives of the Rotarian Vocational Fellowship of Law Are:
To provide a means whereby a member may identify and contact Rotarians in his/her business or profession from other countries in furtherance of the Object of Rotary.
To foster fellowship and service through vocational contact meetings at international Rotary meetings, such as the Rotary International Convention, and to encourage person-to-person vocational visits and exchanges.
To further the exchange of business/professional training and technological information through the exchange of periodicals, journals and audiovisual materials.
To provide a resource and offer consultation, upon request, to the R.I. president, board, committees and general secretary on specialized topics related to legal issues and questions.
To expand the potential for Rotary service by providing a network of Rotarian specialists in a particular field and to expand opportunities for Rotarians to serve through their occupation at the international level, through such programs as Rotary Volunteers.
To further promote the ideal of service at an international level through business and professions.
To further provide vocational internships for law students and attorneys.
